Amiga 32-bit Icons
Intuitive icons are an important part of AmigaOS since the first release in 1985. Users expect icons that describe the applications, tools and files in a clear way.
With AmigaOS 4, Icons can be represented in full colour depth and since AmigaOS4 Update 2 in a bigger size to allow more details - Alpha channels and translucency for complex shading and dimensionality are also supported.
The Masonicons offer a photo-illustrative icon style - it approaches the realism of photography but uses the features of illustrations to convey a lot of information in a small image. An illustration also gives necessary control over details, perspective, light and shadow, texture, and the visualisation itself.
